FAQ

Melbourne Best Obstetrician Team

DO I NEED A REFERRAL?

Yes. A referral from your GP or specialist is required, both for Medicare claiming purposes and so that all practitioners involved in your care are kept up to date with your history. Referrals need to be renewed annually OR if there is a new problem e.g. a new gynaecological problem in a previous obstetric patient. Commencing a new pregnancy requires a current referral for Medicare claiming purposes.

CONSULTING HOURS

The rooms are open from 0800 to 1700 on weekdays, during which Glenda, Shery or Lisa will take all inquiries, make appointments and answer your questions.

Partners and children are welcome at all your visits. However, when attending the detailed 12 and 20 weeks ultrasounds during pregnancy, small children can be distracting for the scanning doctor and babysitting arrangements should be considered.
